Marketing Administrator 1 year fixed term contract

THE ROLE Reporting to the Sales Support & Marketing Manager and working as part of the marketing team within our Bath Headquarters your role will involve collating and inputting technical and commercial data into our competitor tracking & applications databases. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing and collating competitor data; following up on information to validate commercial and technical information, in particular liaising with sub offices, applications engineers and Bath/ Lucca engineering departments, to ensure that competitor information is accurate, regularly tracked and updated.

• Creating a comprehensive competition database ? developing/maintaining a system for storing and retrieving competitor intelligence. To include corporate and multiple product comparisons.

• Administering and designing as required questionnaires/surveys ie New product launch/product development questionnaires and Applications Rotork vs. competitor comparisons.

• Requirement to keep up to date with relevant information and regularly present findings - providing technical product comparisons using PowerPoint together with Excel.

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with the Rotork offices and subsidiaries globally.

THE PERSON You will be well educated and have a strong desire to work in a technical environment with an aptitude for Engineering. Highly IT literate with experience in PHP/MySQL web application development, you will have had exposure to managing/administering databases with an aptitude for learning new computerised systems. You will possess a methodical approach, strong attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise and multi-task. You will have a positive, self motivated, helpful attitude and the ability to work accurately under pressure
